Women's Jersey Countdown: #13 Kendra Rasmussen

Sophomore - Forward - 5'5" - Sartell, MN

Kendra Rasmussen, simply put, is a coach's dream. First of all, she's one of Penn State's most adaptable players and can be moved to a lot of different spots in the lineup without looking out of place or destroying chemistry. While the Minnesotan specializes in a blend of headiness and grittiness on the ice, the biology major who intends to go into medicine specializes in being an outstanding student (on a team full of them, it should be said) off of it. As a freshman, the former two-season captain and all-time leading goal scorer at Sartell-Sauk Rapids (MN) High School most frequently played on energy lines with Micayla Catanzariti and Jenna Welch or Darby Kern and Tess Weaver by the end of the season. Her point total came through a pair of two-point outings: a goal and an assist against Sacred Heart on November 3rd, and two goals against Chatham on January 4th.
